Itβs hard to justify #macOS #Tahoe iconshttps://tonsky.me/blog/tahoe-icons/Another good example how #Apple is sacrificing #usability.Another example which was basically defined in the Apple #HIG and then forgotten, ignored or abused.#HCI #UX

@publicvoit Yeah, old π did UX, new π does cute designs. Now UX is hard, serious work, and as a young guy I used to hate it (at uni); nowadays I admit I'm just not good at it and leave it to the colleagues who enjoy the work. With Apple my guess would be, they feel the pressure to have user visible changes with a release. Fixed that "long standing USB bug" is simply not good enough for the presentation upfront during these big Apple love fests.

@bijram Absolutely! I thought it might be a bug in my mobile browser so that I can't turn it off or something ... π€ Stupid idea to do it in the first place.

@publicvoit Read it on mobile as well - I thought, it may be a pun. Especially since the article is about UX, but no hint whatsoever.

@bijram @publicvoit It's a Javascript program. NoScript users won't see the snowflakes until they let the code run.

@thollief @bijram Of course. On the desktop, I had to disable NoScript for that domain in order to check it.However, Vanadium doesn't come with something like that and I think it would be very tedious to handle that on a mobile device. Do you use NoScript or similar on a mobile device?(fixed wrong language flag)
