       @aidan hyper-v supports linux but if you are going to use a GUI the mouse virtualization is primitive they dont have passthrough like with windows guests

       @ergo welp. guess i’m using hyper-V then if this is gonna be the case lol(if hyper-v supports linux anyway. i could use WSL I guess but idk if that supports direct hardware access to USB drives and such)

       @aidan there are some workarounds by installing stuff on your guest, I saw some fix for ubuntu, you can search online

       @ergo with device/credential guard enabled it will likely use the same hyper-v setup (if it’ll even work at all)i just can’t be arsed to go rummaging and disabling all this when i’m being lazy and my linux box is next to me lol
