Story Idea:A caviler AI CEO guy finds out that the hard drives that contain evidence of his many horrific crimes (Think American Psycho) were also included in the training data. He's able to erase the evidence they were scanned but can't restart the training to totally remove them. He's not worried, he's busy. A high profile "family man" with political ambitions. And "Of course I let the kids use Delphi, she's trustworthy and family safe."Only hints of who he is haunt the machine.

Now his son is developing dark tendencies like those he thought he left in his past. And the old images and video are resurfacing in very public places in very unsettling ways. An object, innocent-seeming that reminds him of a very dark night. A face that is too similar to one of his victims. Soon everyone will know. He becomes paranoid and destroys the project everyone is counting on. Only to find that is not enough to erase the past.

@futurebird would be a good book or movie. The only issue is that I’m not sure it’s believable that an AI CEO would care so much about past misdeeds coming to light. They’ve moved past being concerned about accountability. Maybe one might worry about being double crossed by the president or some rival

@futurebird that an AI would be named after Hypatia is... somehow fitting but also insultive ig? :D

@futurebird Thanks, I think I hate this. (I mean, it's *a really good idea* for a story, but it's also nightmare fuel that I PERSONALLY do not need right now … anyway, I'm sure it's coming soon to a big screen near me!)

@futurebird Could indeed be incredibly good, but I think that you should drive the story more towards psychological horror/philosophical reflection about identity/political analysis about the effect of AI on truth and shared reality; rather than the paranoia aspect.

@futurebird That's a cool and realistic plot. 😎
