As the year comes to a close, let's have a review of what you've helped the Vagina Museum to achieve. It's time for 2025: WAPped.

We opened three exhibitions, all of which are free to enter. We explored menopause through the ages, showcased community-led trans art and helped migrant women tell their stories of their first periods.

We also launched a brand new volunteer spotlight initiative to spotlight the incredible creativity of our community! Claire was first, exploring reproductive justice.

More than 2,000 of you attended a Vagina Museum event in 2025. We put on a great spread for you, ranging from crafts and activities, to our mini-programmes marking South Asian Heritage Month and Black History Month.

And to further spotlight the amazing work that's going on in the vaginasphere, we launched a brand new zine: Lip Service. Our community beavered away to bring you three issues in 2025.

When we talk about community, we mean it. In 2025, we worked with more than 30 partner organisations. We use our space to bring marginalised voices to the fore, and to tell stories which need telling.

But the road hasn't been smooth. In a perfect storm of arts funding in crisis, and a world growing increasingly hostile to women's rights, reproductive rights, and LGBT+ (especially trans) rights, the future looked bleak. In March, we faced almost certain closure. It was nearly (beef) curtains for us.

We used the only option available to us to secure the immediate future of the Vagina Museum: emergency crowdfunding. And our amazing community showed us a *hole* lot of love. In 48 hours, thousands of you donated £60,000, smashing the target in record time!

During the fundraising campaign, we made new friends. BBH London provided a quim-credible billboard campaign around London. And our lovely neighbours, De Nadas, launched a rather fanny-tastic new delicious nibble to raise funds!
