       Chipped a tooth yesterday. It’s a tooth I chipped back in elementary school, and has flaked a little bit here and there through the years. Just lost a good chunk on the back side and now my tongue is worn raw from obsessively feeling it with the tip of my tongue. 😩 Called dentist, but went to voicemail. Fear they may be closed for holidays.

       @cs My mom had a crown pop off Friday, and her regular dentist was closed, but she was able to find an emergency dentist to deal with it Saturday. Probably there's one closer to you than the one she used, which would be about an hour's drive.

       @publius At this point, the only hassle is my tongue being rubbed raw.  If I can get used to it, I can suffer through until they get back in the office. I don't have great dental insurance, so I don't want to have to pay something out-of-network or whatever. We'll see if I can hold on.
