Disgusting, evil men.Sherman's march included shipping huge numbers of livestock north as well, all intended to break Southern spirit. An attack on civilians, indeed. Sparing Savannah, GA because his fraternity brother begged him not to burn it down. And the 40+ years of occupation that followed, they flooded my beloved Dixie with carpetbaggers (invading yankees, including many jews) with cheap capital to buy depressed assets for pennies on the dollar. Scalawags also helped the scoundrels. They were turn-coat Southerners that profited from the occupiers destruction of Southern culture and the economy.And never forget, the KKK was established to bring raping / violent / thieving niggers to heal. That population was encouraged and enflamed by the yankees as "vengeance" on White Southern men and women.
