@apenkopThe Internet we have has become a means for so many "Internet connected smart devices" which are more of them that not, it seems, designed either so poorly that they become vectors of malware, espionage, or surveillance machines, or are intended to be such, that connecting them is an outright hazard in your home. The internet's promise of smart infrastructure has mostly become a minefield of data loss and personal data extraction by seemingly innocuous things like washing machines and thermostats. They're almost always some sort of scam. @Natasha_Jay
