I hope you and the family are warm, happy, well-fed, safe, and having a great Yule! Give my greets to the wife, too.

I got a LOT done. The dining room is finished and is probably now one of my favorite rooms to be in, the living room is set up and looks excellent (mostly), and for the most part the house interior is finished. The roomie is finally a bit more stable (less beating herself and screaming over every little thing. Got a complex chandelier wired and hung in the foyer.I got the Yule of accomplishment. Feels good, man!

@Dagnar sweet bro, what else is left in the house to do? Glad she’s calmed herself down and become more reasonable.

Little spot stuff like repairing the plaster holes from when the electricians had to rewire the house. Only 4 of those holes to refill and repaint. Replace the drop ceiling tiles on the staircase mid landing and replace the light fixture. She picked up an LED fixture that should be super easy to install. The middle bedroom is the storage unit for her "emotional baggage" items she wanted to keep but won't be using in the next decade or so. Have to straighten that up.The real work that needs to be done is shoring up crumbling concrete in the basement, gutting and rebuilding both bathrooms (which will require me to learn basic plumbing and tiling), and I'm sort of looking around to find any painters to repaint the exterior that would be willing to see if they can do it without a permit from the town (permit is a problem). Cleaning out the garage hoard is another matter entirely.
