@historyofpunkrock I think I learned the most from Jello. I’m that one dude on earth that didn’t care for Minor Threat and, to a higher degree, Fugazi. HR was the original madman but, despite 3 attempts, never got to see that version perform live. What’s left to say about Rollins? Legend.

@historyofpunkrock Definitely Henry Rollins for me, what an absolute legend. I could listen to him for hours (music, but also his stories obviously).

@historyofpunkrockI heard Henry say some things during one of his spoken words tours 30 years ago that have stuck with me ever since and changed my outlook on life.The legitimacy of one's pain. Making decisions to meet your own expectations and not anyone else's. How terrible mass media is at proposing an achievable sense of self.All this while being very, very funny.Henry it is.
