you can never find scissors. not when you need them. never. so you end up buying another pair. until you move. then they all appear, come out of the woodwork, hundreds of them, snapping at you.

@interfluidity Uh oh. Are you moving? And being attacked by a veritable army of scissors? Hubby got a wooden magnetic knife rack and mounted it for scissors. He put one on my sewing table too. It's brilliant. Doesn't stop me from scattering scissors all over the craft room though. lol.

@interfluidity or... You could just keep your scissors in the knife holder, and a pair in the drawer. Just put them away when you're done, easy.

@interfluidity a couple of decades ago I just went and bought half a dozen pears. I can find two or three pairs right now. Even after moving recently. Tip: put a pair on your kitchen counter. It seems to work. They are always at hand.
