@ra1n sadly yeah, i've had all sorts of weird glitches with KDE and X11 doesn't play well with variable refresh rate setups

@voltrina @ra1n i do like KDE but i wish they'd focus on stability more than new features. tho i suppose some of the bugs are more qt's fault than the kde team. the lack of DE choices in wayland is unfortunate too. i hope xfce and mate's wayland implementations mature soon. most of xfce's apps seem to already work in wayland but they don't have a wayland version of xfwm yet, which is kind of a big deal.
