I benefit from the ADD meds I take. I did really well at school until we reached the point where i had to be self-directed, but I test well. I'm almost certainly not Neurotypical. But i don't believe ANYONE is. Certainly people who have a brain architecture that make it difficult to navigate the social norms that are the current standard have a harder time in life, and that's not right. But sentences that start "all Neurotypicals..." need to be looked at hard before hiiting post.

...we are not the same.I'm not saying the oppression you have felt is not real. I'm not saying that YOUR LIVED EXPERIENCE is not valid. Of course it is. But just as you, whoever you are, don't to be defined by only one of your characteristics - your hair colour, index finger length, opinion on Ed Sheeran - I don't think you should attempt to classify great swathes of the population as one entity. It may seem like the world is run by Neurotypicals, but we don't even know what that looks like.
