@Lino0876 I already know what Santa is bringing me: selected pieces of silverware, to replace the ones tossed away by (most likely) my son.12 salad forks dwindled to 4 in just 2 years. Dec 25th, will be up to 14 !!Bwa-ha-ha!

@Lino0876 He said it started with a large soup spoon left in a lunch bag, then the bag (containing 2 bananas) surfaced a couple months later & he was too grossed out to touch The Spoon. So he tossed the whole thang.Apparently it grew in intensity and frequency over the months. 8 forks & a few spoons went missing, having last been seen in the vicinity of my son.He knows he'll be charged for anything missing, the dear boy.Bwa-ha-ha!Ain't NOBODY gonn' mess wid MOMMA'S flatware no more.

@CarolEmmarie LOL their you go. Lay down the law mama. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and 2026. Christmas will be low key here. Going to pick up a ham dinner on the 23rd. We'll be having Christmas eve service at my church with the kids and the teenagers singing. I can't wait. Wife and I have been making cookies all week. Tomorrow we'll be doing chocolate chip. We mad M and M cookies. Yesterday it was peanut butter.

@Lino0876 Yay -- festive and full of worship: the best combo for Christmas.We're having old friends (from our home-schooling days) over today - maybe 5 couples - for a little bash.Daughter BROKE her ARM, poor baby! Did it while cleaning house for me. A real sweetie-pie with a cheerful attitude.I can learn a lot from her!
