randomly checking out Google Maps where I used to live and I see a company I would have killed to work for (maybe metaphorically, maybe literally) moved into a building at a public park where I used to go multiple times a week.

suffice to say, I am wracked with disappointment that I moved away.sure, there's no guarantee I would have been hired -- THEIR LOSS -- but the thought of what might have been is very very sadge (for me).

I dont regret moving away -- I wanted to get away from that city. But not because I didnt like the city itself or the state.Just the politics and the ability to recognize what was gonna happen to the city/state after Trump was elected in 2016 (but coincidentally not the batsoup plague).

Still though, if I still lived in that municipality and got hired on at this software company, I might have finally felt like my ship had come in (professionally).
