The main problem with phones and photos is my hand is so frozen so quickly that even just pressing the shutter button on screen is a serious challenge. Any manual adjustment would be outright impossible, I suspect the dedicated photo button of the newer iPhones is much handier than many people would expect. (I’m typing this on a tram.)

@piggo I can still use volume buttons for the shutter, it’s just this is meant to also allow for some basic adjustments (supposedly), I wanted the new iPhone but it was not available and now the money is kind of going into the desperate cat saving effort
