I hope you're right. This seems worse. This is a larger spike than the the one back in 2018 when DDR4 prices doubled due to the Samsung Note recalls. Even back then, people knew Samsung would be back into the consumer market. Who knows when Micron will come back .. and they're only three major memory suppliers in the world. I bought a 2x16GB kit for $86 in October. This same kit is now $370.
