“People want software that is fast, modern, but also honest about what it does.”https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/leadership/mozillas-next-chapter-anthony-enzor-demeo-new-ceo/No, you muppet, people want tools that do what they need, not do crap they don’t want and be honest about it.If someone tells you they’re a gardener, they should tend your garden, not piss in your face while telling you “I’m pissing in your face. If you don’t want me to piss in your face, you can opt out. Tomorrow, I’ll come back and piss in your face again unless you opt out.” If that’s what they’re doing, they’re not a gardener, they’re someone who pisses in your face.#mozilla #firefox #AI #pissingInYourFace

@aral You quoted the truth, not the part about ‘people expecting an AI browser.’ People want software that is convenient and looks good, and if it respects privacy, that's a plus for those who care about it (most people use TikTok/FB, they don't care).Let's minimise negativity on social media and criticise wisely when we have the opportunity. There's no need to write about nonsense and filth of this level

@aral Absolutely agree with your comment.I already no longer use firefox, why, it is configured and built to fleece user data.see operation merino, mozilla works with others to track users, see non privacy respecting default search engine and dns. Building the most trusted software company, Bluuuuurb.Mozilla under Mitchel Baker made firefox what it is, a shadow of the past, still losing market share. This new Chief seemingly, wants to lose the last few loyal users.

@aral If a CEO feels the need to publicly discuss trust and trustworthy products, then in 99.99% of cases, it is because you should neither trust the company nor their products.

@aral I always knew there was some side deal going on with gardening, this was not what I expected however (though I did piss myself laughing).

The irony 🫣 : #Firefox of all projects int he world should absolutely know better when it comes to browsers NOT adding bloat and becoming "a broader ecosystem of trusted software".

@aral tbh, with the speed that mozilla moves it might be that the AI bubble will burst before it gets adopted

@aral Will Anthony Enzor-DeMeo, too, gorge at the trough and command a $2 million+ salary+bonuses? Shameful what his predecessor, Mitchel Baker, did drawing the monies she did -- Mozilla could be a great case study for non-profit greed.
