Which #fediverse #activitypub server is the easiest to run in #docker?I'd like to test my own AP software without littering the live network#askfedi

@mattesilver If an activity is not processed due to an error, there will be a warning in the Mitra log.What are you trying to do?

@mattesilver This probably means that your activity has already been processed.

@silverpill wouldn't that be nice, but there's nothing in follow_requests nor in subscription tables, and mitra isn't sending any of my public activities

@mattesilver Accepted follow requests are in relationship table. Processed activities are in activitypub_object table. And background jobs for pending activities are in background_job table.

@silverpill `activitypub_object` has my two messages I've created using mitra UI, the other two tables are empty

@mattesilver I don't think it's possible. There should be either a log message after received ... Follow, or an entry in activitypub_object, or an entry in background_json.Could you show me the full log?https://codeberg.org/silverpill/mitra/src/branch/main/docs/debugging.md

@silverpill I'm absolutely certain that it's my program sending bad messages, I'm just asking if there's a way to see processing exceptions in mitra

@mattesilver You should be able to see them in the log. If you don't, it's probably a bug in Mitra.

@silverpill ```#[post("/inbox")]async fn instance_actor_inbox( config: web::Data<Config>, activity: web::Json<JsonValue>,) -> Result<HttpResponse, HttpError> { if !config.federation.enabled { return Err(HttpError::PermissionError); }; log::info!( "received in instance inbox: {}", activity["type"].as_str().unwrap_or("Unknown"), ); Ok(HttpResponse::Accepted().finish())}```seems to me it works as intended...1. fail if federation is disabled2. log3. return 202
