when I was in college 2011 we had the Harvard Law students come over for debate. They were so bad, unorganized and all around stupid it was unbelievable. When they left our professor apologized saying that she just assumed they would be better. We wiped the floor with them as if they were a community college

When the system demanded "A"s then the skids were greased so that even marginal kids could get A+++s with mild effort (in the U.S AP tests can push grades above a '4.0' which is gay af).

They just sit and either "wait for the class to end" or copy notes word-for-word.I never took notes. I just listened and tried to make sure I understood what was being said.I really not as smart as the people around me would tell me I was, but that's only because the people around me were usually credential-seeking retards. @s2208 @petra @slashdot @Paleface My quick off-the-cuff test of a person's intelligence is to just make quick-witted remarks. Humor is very, very closely related to intelligence. There's an abstractness to it. Plus, the references necessary to understand a gag will line up with the lived-experiences of the individual, and what they've retained.Dummies have very limited humor. Midwits = "I don't get it". It's all useful, as one can bring them back around in the conversation by keeping it light. But I'll open new crowds just to gauge their SMRT so I'll know what I can talk about.
