I'm preparing a month-long vacation from Fedi, and starting it "right when those defederations are supposed to lift" sounds like the best time to do that at this moment. I was actually hoping to step out around Tuesday, after I make sure I have all the gear I need to just shut my computer down entirely for a month straight. My laptop will be up, but I won't be connecting it to the internet: it'll be a big fancy reading machine.However, given this recent mess, I'll probably pop on briefly next Sunday to see if I can throw water on the inevitable fire.
