Germany's Merz says Putin seeks to restore USSR and will not stop at Ukraine @correct, also the current us krasnov administration seeks to separate italy austria poland and hungary from the eu to make the eu more vulnerable and to exit all us troops from europe before 2027 (possibly may mean an exit from nato as well from the part of the us)poland and hungary may be the next with baltic states and finland ... putin and krasnow planning a holy eu cruisade ...@https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2025/12/14/8011776/

@dibi58 Isn't Russia still allied with China, like the Soviet Union was?Why would we expect anything to change

@amerika @dibi58 Russia is reluctantly allied with China because it has no other choice. If china were to remove its protective and trading hand from russia, Putin would be gone within a year. The problem here is that china is master and russia slave, and this grates on Putins nerves and seems humiliating to him. That means, eventually, when china has more to gain by abandoning russia than by supporting it, it will be gone, and russia in its current reincarnation will fall. At the moment china gains by supporting russia to keep the west occupied and drained of money, while it buys up african rare earth metals and reinforces its near monopoly on that commodity. This is my theory at least.

@h4890 @dibi58 Can't agree here: they were allied back in the Communist days and simply continued that relationship. There is also the Asiatic blood affiliation (all Russians are part Chinese).

@amerika @dibi58 I think they were allied out of necessity and not because they really wanted it. But who knows... you might be right. I cannot prove what I claim. ;)

@h4890 @dibi58 At least in 1949 or so, they were both Communist and working together for worldwide Communist revolution. Seems like a dubious goal to me but maybe it's a fetish.Whatever happened to COMINTERN, anyway? I remember it was a promising death-grind band from Sweden as well, for awhile.

@amerika @dibi58 True. It seems to me that at least that international aspect of communism has now died. The communists that remain seem to be more intent on filling their own coffers than any international take overs.

@h4890 @dibi58 I thought on this: their goal is no longer world Communism, but a world ruled by the third world (BRICS).

@amerika @dibi58 To me, the brics love, is a result of the opposition from the west. They love the brics, because brics are also resentful of the west. So it is a "my enemys enemy" situation. The deal is that the communist countries don't tell anyone how to run their own. Another thing they are trying with brics, is to become independent from the west in terms of technology and trade.

@h4890 @dibi58 I think you are trying to be kind to them here, which is admirable, but in the grand tradition of the West, our weakness. They're morons who want to take over the world. This is the French Revolution, global version, where the workers -- who are dumber than management -- take over so that they can steal and stop doing much, then are shocked that they are poor. The BRICS are incompetent.
