       it's a rare sophomore who can implement a dynamic array and it's not because dynamic arrays are hardthe vast majority of professional programmers cannot implement basic data structures. ask the average dev to write a hash table from scratch and they won't even know where to start, assuming they ever know what a hash table isleetcode niggers can probably regurgitate a tree traversal but they'll crash and burn if you ask them to implement the treeturns out 30 years of relying on language features has consequences

       @deprecated_ii it's because they stopped teaching proper computer class in the 90s. I remember them going from encouraging basic programing and extremely lite DOS, to discouraging anything but basic bitch shit like home row typing.
