       @DemocracyMattersALot what would the executives get bonuses for anyway? Amtrak sucks. More expensive than a plane ride and 2 - 8x as long.

       @Bradley_JFAmtrak is hammered by right wingers who want to privatize everything. Complaining about shit service on Amtrak is like complaining about the post office. It's under siege. Freight is supposed to share the rails with passengers service but it's unfairly allocated. Not everything is about lowest possible cost.  @DemocracyMattersALot

       @tomjennings I'm not saying it needs to be privatized. I'm saying it needs to be affordable considering other options. People aren't going to spend more and take longer to travel for no reason.@DemocracyMattersALot
