FreeBSD 15.0 vs. Ubuntu Linux For AMD EPYC Server PerformanceGiven the recent release of FreeBSD 15, I started off my testing in looking at how FreeBSD 15.0 improves performance versus FreeBSD 14.3. Now it's onto the next important question: how is FreeBSD 15.0 performing relative to Linux on servers? Here are some benchmarks exploring that topic today.https://www.phoronix.com/review/freebsd-15-amd-epyc-linux

@phoronix Why again you are comparing Apples versus Oranges?Ubuntu is one of the few Linux distros that allow install on ZFS ... and instead of using that option you used EXT4 from the stone age without any protections or checksums or snapshots or ... anything modern.Very unfair comparison.Either use EXT4 for Ubuntu and UFS for FreeBSD or use ZFS for all ... its that simple
