I use ball jars for everything. Instead of cups or tupperware I have a bunch of canning jars around. Leftover end up in the jars. It's how I get around microplastics and radioactive mugs. (ceramic mugs are the most radioactive thing in your house).

@RichardKuklinskisIcyGlare why take the risk? Also, chicks dig it when you take a jar out of your back pack to stuff the remainder of your lunch."It's like in Legend of Zelda, baby!"

@magicalthinking I feel like this makes a lot of assumptions about what's in my house. 😀

@magicalthinking $10 for the adapter that lets your vacuum sealer seal Ball canning jars. There was one for sale up on woot just the other day. $20 for an electric hockey puck vacuum pump tool that only seals canning jars.

@magicalthinking it was on a woot page listing of bazillion kitchen items on sale. This add on kit is $18 right now. It uses the aux vacuum socket on a normal sealer to vacuum mason jar and then drop a lid on it before breaking vacuum.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNQTC7VN/$10 for this stand alone hockey puck vacuum that seals both sizes of mason jars and bags & containers that have that round vacuum valve built in to them. This might be all you really need.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D174W22H

@MummaBear I used to but I stopped. A real gas mask made from rubber with a real dust filter that actually work is what I need.I have them but since 100% of my workplace will be dusty and my hands and everything I touch will be dusty it means that the mask will be dusty too.So I got tired of them. Then I went with the ones made from paper but they made me cough hysterically until I almost vomited. So I gave up on those.I Usually do all cuts like that outside, but still. It is not good.
