There is a lore note in Observer (you should play it given a chance) that talks about this actually. I have a feeling that this post will become more literal in cyberpunk-y stories.Technically the Cyberpunk TTRPG has a character archetype called Bioexotics which is exactly this, so it’s hardly new.But it’ll be fun seeing it explored more.

i can ramble on about how cyberpunk 2077 isn't really what cyberpunk used to bebut so is scifi as a whole and you should still find some joy in the media gender
