In these Ukraine/Russia articles, do they ever mention the population pyramids of these countries? My European friend sprung this on me recently-- it's a dispute for territory simply because Russia is a dying country and needs more people (with its pyramid looking more like an obelisk).

Occasionally there are mentions of it in my political sources but the Ukraine - NATO conflict for me is decades long march for EU expansion, corruption & fraud.. Lots of senior Members of Congress are part of the corruption scheme airing now.. also Biden family but moving on.. Russia was forced into adversarial role.. as far as population there are active programs to encourage and support traditional families making babies.. their economy is solid & defense capabilities kick ass because patriotic effort outperforms corrupt money laundering operation by a moon shot!
