@itsfoss There's nothing bad in using non-OSS software, though. While I prefer using OSS to proprietary software, I wouldn't sacrifice basic features or security if there's a better proprietary alternative.

@tpaau17db @itsfoss there is. Youre getting used and squeezed like a lemon, youre putting software on your computer that could be doing anything without you knowing. Proprietary software is cancer

@Mirk0dex @itsfoss If an app is properly sandboxed, it's not dangerous. A simple Android launcher or a note taking app can't do any harm if it doesn't have internet access, for instance.
