       @QuisSicutDeus I'm an Orthodox Christian and I have no use for the protestant heresy myself, but not because I had a bad experience in any of these churches. I just like the buildings. I find it endlessly amusing that stained glass comes from the use of icons, which were teaching tools and aids to worship that most protestants think are idolatrous. They kept shedding bits of the Church, a process that is still going on. Yet they knew that stained glass was what you have in church windows. I don't think it ever occurred to any of them to wonder why. Of course now it's of the utmost importance that a protestant church be ugly and indistinguishable from a bank or movie theater.

I've seen pictures of it before, because it was designed by the same fella who built the Marty Leonard Community Chapel in Fort Worth. you can see similar bones. the one in Fort Worth is an impressive structure, from outside and inside, but you can tell it was designed by someone who doesn't know what worship of the Holy Trinity actually is. that doesn't mean it's not beautiful, just that it's a somewhat deceptive beauty. it's a jungle out there
