       @trekrich Depends on the hardware.  Ironically, I've even seen people install it on the Atari VCS 800 and it worked flawlessly and fast with stock hardware.  (You can upgrade the Atari VCS.)  So.. dunno.  So far it seems pretty good on most machines I've seen but it really depends on the hardware.

       @Dan_Ramos @trekrich depends on the operating system too. Because it's linux, there are tons of things you can do to make any given game work better. Sometimes those efficiency tweaks will make other things run slightly slower though too.SteamOS as far as I know is just arch with few modifications. So for a good baseline, look at how arch or endeavorOS (another version of arch but with sane installing scripts). I think SteamOS just has some different UI stuff to make it behave more console-y.
