       @scruss Fortunately I was practicing with Dutch Guilding before going for the real deal. It's not stunningly cheap but it comes as 50 pk 100mm x 100mm sheets. It is worse than glitter for cleaning up, and not at all good for circuitry.

       @vik yes, I took an illumination class. We weren't allowed near the real stuff. Somebody sneezed... Oh no.My teacher's artworks typically have about $1500 worth of gold leaf (reduced to shell gold) per page.

       @scrussI found you can get it in 25mm squares for cake decorations. This is about the right size for my purposes. Problem is that at the moment the resin sticks to the leaf better than the glass, so removing the leaf pulls the resin off.
