@blenderdumbass Memes are only good if they aren't false.0. There is no "the GPL license", there is the GPLv1, GPLv2 & GPLv3 and I have never heard of a case of microsoft trying to sue GNU or the FSF.One of microsoft's serfs tried to sue the FSF for daring to give the users freedom, but the case was thrown out.2. "WSL1" didn't have Linux in it - it was GNU ported to windows - so GNU/kWindows; https://mikegerwitz.com/2016/04/gnu-kwindowsIt was similar to the already existing MSYS2 and "Cygwin", except microsoft added a program that implemented Linux's syscalls, to allow the execution of GNU/Linux binaries without having to recompile them first.3. GNU/Linux was never that unstable and buggy - GNU was on track to achieving the lowest error rate and least amount of bugs for any OS before Linux even existed. There was a lot of proprietary sabotage that was a pain to deal with in the past, but that has been mostly worked around - too bad microsoft and co do their best to add more.
