Reethan van cryberg has gotten so desperate for any audience growth that he is now linking to piracy sites that host his comics, hoping that ANYONE will read them and start backing him.For the past several years, his new comicsgate-backed Cyberfrog books weren't even being pirated because no one wanted to read them. Even that shitty Isom book (which ethan initially supported) was eventually uploaded to piracy sites because of the constant public meltdowns that eric july was having over it (and I mean BEFORE the dick masterson involvement, for all the tourists out there who only get information from low IQ sources like kiwifarms or kino casino) and the constant public meltdown that his fellow corporate monetized product fake geek employees at theblaze were having over it (something that kiwifarms and kino casino are actively covering up).Now that the comicsgate cyberfrog books are available, anyone can read and see how shitty and gay (literally gay, ethan van sciver is a closeted homosexual, which is obvious just from a casual skim of the dialogue in his comics) his comics are.This is the shit that your average monetized antiwoke youtuber heavily promoted. I would've scanned and uploaded these to the piracy sites myself if I bothered to waste a single cent on this dogshit. The only time I ever backed anything from comicsgate, I ended up getting ethan to have a desperate PR spiral about it before (possibly after law enforcement investigation) he very quickly canceled the campaign and offered everyone a refund (I still never got my refund).

He doesn't really do anything in the whole first comic except sit around. He's a non-hero. Not even an antihero, just a non-entity in his own comic. He loses because he commits to no action, he's just all talk. What does that remind me of? The evil wasps take over the whole planet because cyberfrog sucks and doesn't do anything. Much like how ethan van sciver didn't get this first book out until 2 years after his indiegogo due date, because he would stream literally 10 hours a day with any random person who would suck his dick in public (including faggot shills like metokur, warski, ethan ralph, alex stein, etc).It's like that description of George RR Martin, how he can't finish his final book because he doesn't know how to write an actual moral hero. The second book, Cyberfrog: Rekt Planet (yes, he actually used a boomer meme for the title, because he thinks that's hip and current), unironically has over half of the pages dedicated to the shitty lame hero just sitting around, not doing anything, not fighting the bad guys, not helping other survivors. He just lounges around like a lazy faggot. Who does that remind me of again? 🤔 😏It was so bad that, when he posted a preview of this book a few years ago, and it was pointed out to him that it's clear his "hero" doesn't do anything for the entire book, ethan delayed the book yet again just so he could "add more" to "fix" the story and have cyberfrog eventually kick a few of the evil monsters.

He claimed the book took so long to finish because he spent more time on the art, but you can see, even in these kind of grainy low res scans, that the art itself objectively sucks. That's because ethan's always been nothing more than a comic book cover artist who doesn't understand the fundamentals of actual comic book art.

How incompetent is cyberfrog in his own mainline title? This incompetent.Only an incompetent hero lets this happen, especially to someone he was standing right next to. Where are the cyber guns and laser beams? Reethan didn't feel like drawing them because he is lazy, gay, and sucks at making comics. It's like even cyberfrog was too busy livestreaming to do his job!That's not even getting into what an incoherent trainwreck the art is. That's because reethan knows that 99% of American comic book fans (aka capecucks) inherently equate "more lines" as "good art." He also uses it as an excuse for the books being late, claiming he's putting "more work" into them, even though this style of art doesn't actually take that much more work to draw. Remember, ethan doesn't do any of the coloring, which is where most of the real time is spent.

@bleedingphoenix @thomasroiloup Butch Killigan is the best thing I've read other than Watchman, but the one thing holding it back is that it stopped after two books and the story isn't even half over. The one thing indie comics need is a guy with a money clip and a cigar barging into your house and screaming at you to pump out endless stories instead of asmr and collectable signed bookmarks.
