       i think the stupid beforan loop theory is going to end up being real, *but* that it's going to be the session played by the non-GCAT players in the cha.OS chat, and that the nymphs and satyrs of the actual story won't have their own session at all and will instead be brought on as guest players into a session set up by vriska with the four Candy timeline children. that's what I gather from Ly'lac's odd dreamer outfit, anyway.Dirk's machinations in the Meat timeline will lead to the authentication of Lord English's curse, by having his SHURB session create the A1 Beforus universe, thus implicating Everything into a self-sustaining loop of Weird Plot Shit that always ties back to Lord English,while Vriska's machinations in the Candy timeline will lead to a universe that is well and truly Beyond Canon, one which cannot be touched by Lord English because it is confined within the body of alt!Calliope,and ironically, frustratingly, because his plan will have inadvertently put a finite "cap" on the possible space that Lord English could influence, Dirk will be revealed to have been not a villain, but just a reluctant anti-hero antagonist to spur the heroes into action so that they can finish the work that John started
