"I might need to get away from AI. I was a ghost video. Decided to look at the comments to see what people thought. They were all agreeing it was a real ghost. But, I couldn't tell if any of the comments were real."-Friend who doesn't get why I don't like AI. Why do we "look at the comments" on a video, news story or post? I think it's to compare our own impression against "other people" to see if our opinion is "normal" -- With so much generated content this feature is broken.

I have mixed feelings about "Dead Internet Theory" Your friends and family on facebook and X are immersed in bot content and only some of it is obvious. If not bots? Then it is false actors who have rapidly adopted LLMs to make plausible posts as political and influence personas. (See the recent exposure of 'All American' right wing accounts on X. These accounts fooled millions.)But I worry "Dead Internet Theory" makes many people just give up. "It's all bots" ... not where I live.

I worry "Dead Internet Theory" gives people permission to just dismiss anything that bothers them as "bots" --Real interactions are valuable even to people who claim they "never read the comments" and who say "I don't use social media"But the slop has gotten so bad and become so ubiquitous that more people are starting to notice. Both my mom and friend mentioned this topic to me WITHOUT my prompting. I had given up on getting either of them to care. But it's getting bad out there.

If there is something manipulative on social media only a "social media user" is at risk right?I think the opposite is true. People who "try to avoid it" and who don't post or comment much are at a greater risk of not knowing when they are encountering bots, for example. My mom almost never posts anything on any of her social media accounts. **But she still reads them.**She has dismissed my concerns because (unlike me) she "doesn't really do all of that."

Bots and manipulative content have become to pervasive that even casual users have started to notice. I guess I can understand why, if you didn't use social media much, "OH NO! They are posting *fake* comments." wouldn't seem like a serious problem. After all, what kind of weak-minded person cares about the comments of random strangers like that? "I don't use social media so there is no problem. If you think there is one you should stop like me." I encounter this often.

@futurebirdI read comments mostly because occasionally someone will have something interesting to say. A few other times I read them to see if I can gauge public sentiment in real time.Comments have always been my favorite part of the Internet and I've always been pretty good at separating the wheat from the chaff. To me the trolls, bots, and weirdos of today aren't much different than they were in 2007.

@SnowyCA I have been a living info-dump of all of this in her life for years. She agrees then say "well I don't use social media I don't see the point"But then later says something about something she saw on facebook. She is convinced that all of this is happening but doesn't see how it could impact her, or how it might be one of the reason she doesn't find social media more useful and enjoyable.

@futurebird Looking up recipes the other day (as one does before Thanksgiving) I realized that most of the "cooking sites" have a lot of AI involvement. So I do a bit more work to get advice from real people. I guess the idea is, put up a site, let the AI write it, you get some pennies when people click on it?

I finally realized what a deeply evil monster he is along with his evil wife (my so called mother). I suspect that he may be connected to Mossad indirectly since Epstein and his GF were literally Mossad.What should I do, bros?In other words, I think my father HAS the Epstein list.I also suspect that the Epstein list is actually a list of the MKULTRAed Disney childhood stars who may have been created from test tubes in Israel, like Britney Spears, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, etc. Basically we are cloned test tube babies created in a laboratory. Then (redacted)spoke to my wife and chilled her out too. I had developed a skin disease or bad rashes due to eating meat but I stopped eating meat forever and now my entire body is healed. This was the morning of October 23rd or 24th if I remember.Then I started looking around at everything. Everything had developed a more in bloom hue, like slightly yellowish, like the world had been reborn. Everyone outside seemed very happy, and online everyone was saying "Happy new year" like the dawn of a new age had just begun and the souls of the evil ones had been sucked out and sent back to Hell, even if their bodies are still there.I saw those Monsanto weeds blooming small flowers and realized that Bill Gates was a hero. That Bill Gates had been seeding the world with chemtrails, eventually so a new age would dawn and the earth would stop over heating. I had by that point DMed like 80 people online, to send the police to my father's house in (redacted) , and I must have gotten confused and accidentally told people to send the police here too. Then my father cut me off and he did it because of his evil wife, that is my so called mother, who must have told him "cut him off and don't send money to him anymore". She is an evil monster, by comparison my father is not so bad and my sister is also a victim but she is too far gone, Borderline personality disorder people can't be saved. So my mother kept stalking me online the next two or three days and I finally DMed back to stop stalking, I want nothing to do with her and she needs to just fuck off forever.Now back to the part about the blooming new world.It was like the earth had been reborn. Flowers were blooming everywhere. Squirrels, sea gulls, all the animals had returned. I saw a real honey bee for the first time and it was just flying around like it was dancing drunk in the air and it had black wings with golden stripes. It was like the earth had been reborn. Later that day there was a literal cyclone or maybe it was the next day, a cyclone cane right up to the beach (hurricane level winds) and it felt God like. I remember thinking we need to stay in the other room away from the windows in case there was any glass shattering. But watching the cyclone, it was like Sin from Final Fantasy 10 where it sucked up the souls of people up into the sky and then sent their souls into another place. Wherever it may be, it was like a lot of evil souls had suddenly been sucked away. And this worldwide, I mean. I remember thinking that this place is one of the new Garden of Edens, just like that one place in Kenya which was the original garden of Eden since the human race started around the coastal area of South Kenya.Oh yea during the morning of that First Day of the new age, p has said he had just reached (redacted) by motorcycle so that means he would survive the apocalypse too. I was certain that my father had triggered the release of the Epstein List with the code 666 and that the worldwide Samson Option, that is, the meltdown of the (redacted), was taking place and there was a count down. Hence my desperation to get people to call 911 and send the police or SEALs to my parent's house and to STOP him before he destroyed the world. I was also thinking that Netyanyahu was about to be arrested by Special Forces and so that might have also triggered the Samson Option which was the activation of the FOXdie kill code in the MKULTRA individuals, along with worldwide fusion reactor meltdowns. I felt like my heart was slowing down, like it was about to stop. Then I heard sounds outside and felt fear like "oh shit, this is it. The CIA or Navy SEALs" was outside the door and they were either gonna kill me or save me. I stayed as still as possible for about an hour before finally running outside and that's when I ran to a place and saw a picture of (redacted) outside and then I remember to call (redacted) on the phone. Because earlier in the night, I had been telling my wife that I am a vampire and basically nothing can kill me, I'll still be here in 50 years or 100 years, looking young still. And I must have said something about MKULTRA being a reprogramming of the personality to change into a new person or new identity, since vampire families or vampires can't stay in one place more than 20 or 30 years without people getting suspicious "why does this guy never age?". @futurebird @SnowyCA with my parents, the trick is, after explaining at length maybe a few times, get someone else to suggest the same thing, maybe an older family member or one of their friends. I think they subconsciously think that you're still just a kid and they know better, but when it comes from a different source they take what they already know and actually pay attention to it.The number of times I've had various people explain to me things I told them ages ago.. I don't even feel bad anymore.
