The rent is very little and you could buy an entire house or apartment for as little as 25k euros. Thereā€™s not much to do, but the forests, lakes and rivers are everywhere, and the internet is good.

       @sinituulia I'm Finnish and I already live "on the countryside" but I would rather live much more far to any direction that's at least 100-300km away from helsinki, get me the fuck out of uusimaa and to somewhere where there are still actual forests because they've all been cut down, unless I go to designated parks full of other people.

       @Neotheta I much prefer the north to the south, yeah. Or the middle bits, those are also fine. There's plenty of extremely cheap living in Tornio and the towns around it if you feel like checking it out, shame about them closing down the biggest hospital closest by though šŸ˜
