That's precisely the very battle we fight though. Nations can only come from a united bloodline (ethnicity). So it's Nationalism vs Globalism (Marxism). This is why it's absurd to claim Hitler wanted to take over the world. While NatSoc can be tailored to fit any ethnicity, it cannot by definition rule the entire world. Only Marxism can, and in fact it's only Marx's writing that spells out global domination ("in order for communism to work, the entire world must be communist"). The only reason Germany lost that war was the very ethnic group, jews, that were placed in key positions in the governments of the Allies. If Huey Long hadn't been assassinated by the jew Carl Weiss, Germany could have held off UK and France while actively fighting off the USSR. Any alliances in Asia were temporary at best, because Japan did hardly anything for Germany. For reference, consider that Germany held off the entire Alliance for over 5 years, which goes to prove just how strong they actually were. Much of those wars started with Alfred Lord Milner. He got his war, and wrecked Europe in the process.

This is why they devised the F-Scale Test, which measures just how likely a nation is for fascism.
