When I'm mostly working with Linux, Emacs and do office stuff only, should I use (1) 2x27" 4K #OLED #monitors (one horizontal, one vertical) or should I rather (2) buy 2x27" 4K #LED because of various reasons such as:- fonts on OLED aren't looking great (if that's true, that would be really a bummer to me)- burn-in of static Linux desktop elements such as window decorations + panels (I can't tell if this is still an issue for modern panels and office work situations only)- I don't do gaming or watch movies (where OLED really shine)If you do have OLED experience: What are you suggesting to me?Reply in thread for details/comments/more arguments to consider.

@publicvoit- Burnin is still an issue on my OLED phone from 2021. It's faint enough that I can ignore it, but your mileage may vary.- Text looks perfect; there is no reason why it shouldn't be on a high density display.- Perfect blacks are great, but it results in visible banding between pure black and the lowest non-black value. This only mattered to me when I used my screen at the lowest brightness.Overall OLED is nice, but if it's is more expensive by even a bit then I wouldn't bother.

@publicvoit Not what you asked, but every now and then I wonder if E-Ink Monitors might become a real alternative, especially for coding and office work.

@linos I once owned such a device. I can't say I'd like to use it instead of my current TFTs.However, MyDeepGuide things different. Sorry, can't locate the episode where he reported after working for a week exclusively on such a display.

@gregoa_ @stefan I now have 2x24". 2x bigger doesn't make any sense. The alternative would be 1x34" or so but then I'd have much less ppi.
