@LibrarianRA I'm sure in 50 years today's ads will be mercilessly mocked. But, "Maybe provide them better nutrition, rather than spank your child." They're not wrong. But, still. 🤨 When I was a child, Ovaltine had abandoned this ploy, and was just going head-to-head with Nestle's Quik. Chocks chewable vitamins were popular. A weekly spoonful of cod liver oil to stave off rickets was still a thing. "With vitamins and minerals," no matter how processed and sugar ladened, made it seem healthy.
