I think many of you don't understand how hard computers are for people. my writer friend's computer died and he had no money, and all I had at hand was a pretty nice lenovo thinkpad with ubuntu. he was so overwhelmed he gave it back the next day. not even for free.

you're asking people to do a thing they have no interest in doing at all. nobody likes computers like we do. that's ok, because I've never wanted to figure out how to fix a car in the slightest, I don't give a shit about how it works, I don't even want to put gas in it. I just want to drive it as easily as possible. please never make me drive a complicated car.
