Fresno is an American television comedy miniseries that aired from November 16 to November 20, 1986. It parodied popular prime-time soap operas of the era, such as *Falcon Crest*, *Dallas*,*, and *Dynasty*. The series boasted high production values, featuring lavish haute couture gowns designed by Bob Mackie. The main cast included Carol Burnett, Teri Garr, Charles Grodin, and Dabney Coleman, with supporting performances by Charles Keating, Pat Corley, Louise Latham, Tom Poston, & Henry Darrow.

@LibrarianRA I might suggest a modern descendent of Fresno is Palm Royale. It’s outrageous and extravagant.
