       i know of a couple of trans doctors in my town but otherwise, all the trans people i know either work entry-level jobs or have careers in tech. there doesn't seem to be an in-between. wheres the trannies with decent careers as therapists and social workers or running successful landscaping businesses

       @nuukaset@netzsphaere.xyz @hazel@godforsaken.website @aeva@mastodon.gamedev.place Saying a polycule never lasts is a very mononormative thing to say based on a huge misunderstanding.From what I've observed I see that polycules are more like a network which is always in motion, with sometimes new nodes getting added, or nodes disappearing. The fediverse is one big polycule if you think about it. And will last as long as at least two people are talking to each other on it.
