Today, during a WH visit w/Saudi Crown Prince #MBS, Trump said of the murdered #journalist #JamalKhashoggi that “a lot of people didn’t like that gentleman” & that “things happen,” suggesting the #journalist may have deserved his killing. (In 2018, Saudi officials lured Khashoggi to Turkey & murdered him, dismembering his body with a bone saw.)

@Nonilex any other journalist with an ounce of integrity should have stepped in then, either berated him, or just asked the same question, all of them should have asked the same question.But they would rather kneel to the monarch (or have been told they must obey him or else.)

@Nonilex but you've tolerated and even supported him as a society for at least 40 years. If this was my PM, he would be gone in 24 hours so what does it say for the environment Americans live in? It's a cruel dog eat dog society that amplifies get rich quick and an ability to portray social democracy as the root of all evil. The side effects are the Trumps of this world and now as your primitive democracy lies in ruins, nobody is capable of even learning from it, never mind saving it.
