       AI is actually just being used to mask mass layoffs from a shit economy whilst gaslighting everyone into thinking that everything is fine and dandy and the corporation is doing awesome. Mass layoffs without the panic."AI took the jobs, hurrdurr"No, you contracted your labor force due to reduced demand and economic cycles. These people would have been laid off anyway, the AI is just an excuse to prevent panic selling the stocks and prevent a market crash.
