@SuperDicq @fiore That manual is about the C pre processor, not C++.cpp --help

@fiore @SuperDicq The learncpp.com website is a tutorial (down because of cloudfed). If you actually go through the tutorial, you'll realize how bad C++ is and go to the holy GNU C instead; https://www.gnu.org/software/c-intro-and-ref/

@fiore @SuperDicq Modern C++ for absolute beginners by Slobodan Dmitrovich was pretty good when I read it years ago. Or at least I remember it being good.>GNU manualsThose are memes. Bash man page is like hundreds of pages.

@fiore learncpp.com and cppreference.com had been quite useful for me when I started doing c++ at uni., might be what you're looking for? they both have trackers on their pages, but they can easily be blocked.

@fiore i more or less always go to https://en.cppreference.com/ if i need infos for c++. can not tell how good it is to learn the language, but always a good resource to get infos for something specific. (i don't know anymore how i learned c++)

@fiore https://hackingcpp.com/ is pretty good. I also recommend trying to use Raylib to have some fun and maybe make a small game
