       @trujusluv I generally encourage people to question literally everything they're told, but this one is easily explained/reconciled.a day isn't defined by one rotation, but rather the time it takes for the Sun to again be at its highest point.this post is referring to a sidereal day, which is around 23:56:04.  that difference is why the day and night don't go out of sync with our clocks.  remember, the clock itself is arbitrary - see daylight saving.
