@aral A country that needs to start a war--both to distract people from the actions of the White House that are now impacting people's bank accounts and not just their human rights, and to create a hyper-"patriotic" (read: nationalistic/xenophobic) environment to make criticizing the regime look bad.Or orcs. @aral The USA doesn't have a secretary of war either. Trump and Hegseth want to call it that, but there has been no legislation to officially change the department name or the secretary 's title. Doesn't mean we aren't terrible, of course.
