       @Neotheta 5 years ago the solution to this was installing custom roms like LineageOS, but now too many phones AND apps  have blocked a lot of stuff to original rom. Example: samsung have a fuse which goes off if i install anything other than original rom and now i cant use bank apps or GPay(At this point i just try to debloat as much as possible through ADB (you can uninstall any ap using it, not just disable it)

       @Laur12 I got this phone because it should've been easy, but my only reason for having a smartphone has been to play ingress and they created some bullshit anticheat where the game verifies that the os is the original version that comes with the hardware so I've been stuck (and have no money for any better phone, they all suck anyway)

       @Neotheta After seeing the comments, you may need two phones if you truly want to be free, one with a custom ROM and one with the base ROM for the apps that don't work on the custom ROM Idk if phones can run VMs, and they work for those scenarios so the second phone might be necessary for doing what you want.
