       From what I'm finding out, the other tribe who uses our name might've straight up been a means to funnel money out of grants coming through the bureau of Indian affairs, and into personal friends of John Peters, the chairman, who was followed by his son, Jim Peters.The other tribe claims they provide healthcare and housing, along with land repatriation, but lost their recent court case claiming they had land rights because they had no proof, and was previously headed by a direct personal friend of the commissioner
