@stux The solid white lettering is better, if you want to convey info. A side interest of mine is very artistic signage in which the designer seems to forget that a sign (or banner?) is meant to provide certain information. That's it's 1st job, with looking cool or pretty being secondary. One can be fanciful and yet effectively message.
